Scope of Compensation

– Maintenance Compensation: Applicable to Travelers who have achieved Adventure Rank 5 or above by 2023/12/20 06:00 (UTC+8).

– Issue Fix Compensation: Available for Travelers who reach Adventure Rank 5 or above by 2023/12/20 06:00 (UTC+8).

Remember to claim your compensation before the conclusion of Version 4.3. Log in and secure your compensation before 2023/12/23 06:00 (UTC+8).

Our developers will distribute compensation to Travelers through in-game mail within 5 hours after the update maintenance concludes. The mail expires after 30 days, so ensure you claim the attached compensation in a timely manner.

Update maintenance starts on 2023/12/20 06:00 (UTC+8) and is estimated to last for 5 hours.

How to Update Game Client

– PC: Close the game, open the Genshin Impact Launcher, and click Update.

– iOS: Open the App Store and tap Update.

– Android: Open the game and follow the on-screen directions.

– PS5™ and PS4™: Highlight Genshin Impact from the Home Screen, press the OPTIONS button, and select “Check for Update.”

I. New Characters

5-Star Character “Helm of the Radiant Rose” Navia (Geo)

  • Vision: Geo
  • Weapon: Claymore
  • Description: The current President of Spina di Rosula, who is lovely, dutiful, and a great boss.

Elemental Skill: Ceremonial Crystalshot

  • When a character in a party with Navia obtains an Elemental Shard created from the Crystallize reaction, Navia gains Crystal Shrapnel.
  • Navia fires Rosula Shardshots that penetrate opponents, dealing Geo DMG. More hits result in increased damage.
  • Holding the Elemental Skill enters Aiming Mode, collecting Elemental Shards nearby.

Elemental Burst: As the Sunlit Sky’s Singing Salute

  • Calls for a Rosula Dorata Salute, unleashing a massive cannon bombardment on opponents, dealing AoE Geo DMG.
  • Provides Cannon Fire Support, periodically dealing Geo DMG.
  • Cannon attacks grant Navia 1 stack of Crystal Shrapnel.

4-Star Character “Executor of Justice” Chevreuse (Pyro)

  • Vision: Pyro
  • Weapon: Polearm
  • Description: Captain of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol, embodying justice.

Elemental Skill: Short-Range Rapid Interdiction Fire

  • Fires at opponents, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.
  • Triggering Overloaded reaction grants Chevreuse 1 Overcharged Ball, enhancing AoE and DMG.
  • Restores HP to the active character continuously after firing.

Elemental Burst: Ring of Bursting Grenades

  • Fires an explosive grenade, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.
  • Splits into secondary explosive shells after hitting, bursting after a short interval.

II. New Equipment

1. New Weapons (Examples based on Refinement Rank 1)

a. Verdict (5-Star Claymore)

  • Increases ATK by 20%. Obtaining Elemental Shards increases Elemental Skill DMG by 18% for 15s, up to 2 Seals.
  • Event wish “Epitome Invocation” provides a boost for Verdict (Claymore).

b. Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword (4-Star Claymore)

  • ATK increased by 12%. Additional ATK increase based on the number of helped Melusines in Merusea Village.

2. New Artifacts

a. Song of Days Past (4-Star and 5-Star)

  • 2-Piece Set: Healing Bonus +15%.
  • 4-Piece Set: Yearning effect records healing and boosts DMG dealt by active party member.

b. Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods (4-Star and 5-Star)

  • 2-Piece Set: ATK +18%.
  • 4-Piece Set: After Elemental Skill, gain a 20% Geo DMG Bonus; increased under a Crystallize shield.

III. New Domain

a. Domain of Blessing: Waterfall Wen

  • Ancient ruined city used by a secret order.
  • Unlock Criteria: Reach Adventure Rank 22 or complete Archon Quest Prologue: Act III.

Spiral Abyss

  • Floor 11 Ley Line Disorder changed: All party members receive a 75% Geo DMG Bonus.
  • Updated monster lineup on Floors 11–12.

Lunar Phases Update

  • Starting from the first time the Lunar Phase refreshes after updating to Version 4.3:

Phase I: Sturdy Moon

Characters gain the Redoubtable state after obtaining an Elemental Shard from Crystallize, increasing DMG by 15%.

Phase II: Bursting Moon

Characters release a shockwave after obtaining three Elemental Shards, dealing True DMG to nearby opponents.

Genius Invokation TCG” Gameplay Update:

New Character Cards: Lyney, Lynette, Layla, Yelan, Alhaitham, Gorou, and their corresponding Talent cards.

New Character Cards: Dvalin, Azhdaha, La Signora, Eremite Scorching Loremaster, Thunder Manifestation, and their corresponding Talent cards.

Numerous Action Cards added:

Purchasable from Prince at The Cat’s Tail.

New Card Box “Fontaine” can be purchased:

From Prince at The Cat’s Tail after reaching Player Level 8.

Adds 12 new Open World Players:

Reach Player Level 3 to unlock 4 new Open World Players located at Windwail Highland, and reach Player Level 10 to unlock the other 8 Open World Players located at Romaritime Harbor and the Court of Fontaine.

The Forge Realm’s Temper is once again available:

  • Theme of this edition is “The Forge Realm’s Temper: Game of Wits.”
  • Special victory and defeat conditions and unique rules in event stages.

Adjustments & Optimizations

I. Enhancement Systems

– Pop-ups during enhancements from Character Leveling, Weapon Enhancement, and Artifact Enhancement screens are removed. Enhancement information is now integrated into the original screen.

– Preview rewards for defeating Enemies of Note and bosses now display Character Level-Up Materials closer to the front.

– Weapon enhancement allows the consumption of up to 40 materials per enhancement, with the option to select multiple Refinement Materials simultaneously.

– Adjustments to Weapon Refinement Mora consumption rules based on the Refinement Level of the weapon used.

– Character Level Up screen now features faster special effects and an Auto Add function for quick Character EXP Material addition.

II. Artifacts

– Artifact Enhancement screen allows adding up to 15 Artifacts per enhancement.

– “Enhance to Next Tier” function added: Automatically stops adding Enhancement Materials when the Artifact reaches Level 4/8/12/16.

– Option in Paimon Menu > Settings > Other to enable or disable auto-addition of 5-Star Artifacts as Enhancement Materials.

– Inventory > Artifacts screen’s filter function adjusted to support more filter conditions.

– Selection of up to 3 affixes when sorting Artifacts is now possible.

– Crafting Bench’s “Mystic Offering” screen allows adding multiple Artifacts simultaneously.

III. Serenitea Pot

– Adds Multi-Select Mode to Serenitea Pot’s editing screen for moving, storing, and creating custom sets in bulk.

– Logic of Serenitea Pot’s editing screen optimized for Single-Select Mode.

– Serial numbers added to Serenitea Pot’s Replica screen.

– NPC Tubby’s dialogue option for redeeming Realm Currency lights up when the currency is full.

– Optimization of Serenitea Pot’s Furnishing Schematics screen with improved refresh logic and additional source links.

IV. Genius Invokation TCG

– Dynamic Skins for Character Cards “Cyno,” “Tartaglia,” “Xiao,” and “Wanderer” now change card portraits with skill effects.

V. Other Systems

– Scroll bar’s response area adjusted on certain screens.

– Map screen now displays bosses’ current remaining respawn times by clicking their avatars.

– Chat records now show the year, date, and time for records from before the current day.

– Crafting/Cooking/Forging/Create Furnishing screens choose the first character providing a bonus when no selected character records exist.

– “Claim All” button added to “Dispatch Character on Expedition” screen for claiming Expedition Rewards with a single click.

– “Claim All” button added to “Process” and “Forge” screens for claiming processed ingredients and forged items with a single click.

– Adventure Handbook’s Enemies tab interaction experience optimized with a “Cancel Navigation” option.

– Bosses’ avatars on the map now display their current remaining respawn times upon clicking.

– Chat records from before the current day now show the year, date, and time.

– When no selected character records exist on Crafting/Cooking/Forging/Create Furnishing screens, the first character providing a bonus will be chosen by default.

– Adds the “Claim All” button to the “Dispatch Character on Expedition” screen for expedited claiming of rewards. Additionally, the “Dispatch Again” button on the “Expedition Results” screen allows for repeating expeditions with a single click.

– Adds the “Claim All” button to the “Process” and “Forge” screens, enabling a swift claim of processed ingredients and forged items.

– Optimizes the interaction experience of the Adventure Handbook’s Enemies tab. A “Cancel Navigation” option allows users to halt navigation towards a specific enemy on the map, removing the corresponding avatar.

– Adjusts the display of enemies’ avatars on the Enemies tab, ensuring more avatars can be viewed.

VI. Audio

– Voice-over performance optimized for Character Card “Tartaglia” using Elemental Burst under different stances in Genius Invokation TCG.

– Audio performance optimized for combat phase changes in Trounce Domain “Shadow of Another World.”

– Optimizes voice-over performance for Character Card “Tartaglia” when using his Elemental Burst under different stances in Genius Invokation TCG.

– Enhances audio performance during combat phase changes in the Trounce Domain “Shadow of Another World.”

VII. Other

– New HP icon style for “Local Legend” enemies added.

– Tutorials added for “Local Legend” enemies.

– Lineup of opponents adjusted in Ascension Domains for Adventure Ranks 45 and 50.

– Max HP of opponents reduced and time remaining for Time Trial Challenges increased in Ascension Domain for Adventure Rank 45.

– “The Chasm Delvers” quest series no longer prerequisites for Archon Quest “In the Depths, an Unexpected Reunion.”

– Gadget buttons no longer hidden when a Gadget cannot be used; underwater quickswapping Gadgets is now possible.

– Characters’ summons will no longer attack “Hydro Portals” in the open world.

– Barrier along the edges of Spiral Abyss Domains adjusted for a smoother approach.

– Characters now enter closer to the challenge location when entering Domains of Blessing, Domains of Mastery, Domains of Forgery, and when re-challenging these Domains and the Spiral Abyss. CD of party members’ skills resets when re-challenging.

– Adds a new HP icon style for “Local Legend” enemies, improving visual representation.

– Introduces related tutorials for “Local Legend” enemies to aid players in understanding their mechanics.

– Adjusts the lineup of opponents in Ascension Domains for Adventure Ranks 45 and 50 for a more balanced challenge.

– Reduces the Max HP of opponents in the Ascension Domain for Adventure Rank 45 and extends the time remaining for Time Trial Challenges within that domain.

– “The Chasm Delvers” quest series is no longer a prerequisite for the Archon Quest “In the Depths, an Unexpected Reunion.” Upon reaching the objective “Enter The Chasm: Underground Mines” in the Archon Quest, a Teleport Waypoint is automatically unlocked in The Chasm: Underground Mines for seamless progression.

– Gadget buttons are no longer hidden when the current Gadget cannot be used, ensuring accessibility during underwater exploration.

– Characters’ summons will refrain from attacking “Hydro Portals” in the open world, preventing unintended conflicts.

– Adjusts the barrier along the edges of Spiral Abyss Domains, preventing the camera from zooming in when approaching the barrier.

– When entering Domains of Blessing, Domains of Mastery, and Domains of Forgery, or when re-challenging these Domains, characters will now spawn closer to the challenge location for improved efficiency. Additionally, if party members’ skills are on cooldown when re-challenging, the cooldown will be reset.

Genius Invokation TCG Balance Adjustment

I. Elemental Dice Adjustments:

– Elemental Dice cost for the Event Card “Wind and Freedom” is now adjusted from 1 to 0.

– Elemental Dice cost for the Event Card “Joyous Celebration” is now adjusted from 1 to 0.

II. Character Card Adjustments:

– Summon effects for the Character Card “Rhodeia of Loch” are revised; only 2 Hydro Mimics can exist simultaneously on the field now. Hydro Mimics: Frogs’ usages, reducing DMG taken by the active character, are adjusted from 2 to 1.

– HP of the Character Card “Fatui Pyro Agent” is adjusted from 10 to 9 HP.

III. Equipment Card Adjustment:

– Effects of the Equipment Card “Ocean-Hued Clam” are modified; “When played: Heal the attached character for 3 HP” has been adjusted to “2 HP.”

IV. New Effects for Support Cards:

– Support Card “Timaeus” introduces a new effect: “When played: if your deck originally includes at least 6 Artifact cards, you will randomly also draw 1 Artifact Card from your deck.”

– Support Card “Wagner” features a new effect: “When played: if your deck originally includes at least 3 Weapon cards, you will randomly also draw 1 Weapon Card from your deck.”

V. New Effect for Event Card:

– Event Card “Stone and Contracts” presents a new effect: “When the Action Phase of the next Round begins: Draw 1 card.”

VI. Character Card Tag Addition:

– A new tag is added to the Character Card “Dehya”: “The Eremites.”

● Enemies:

– Resolved an issue where, upon defeating both the enemies “Pyro Slime” and “Large Pyro Slime” simultaneously, their explosion special effects would play abnormally soon.

– Fixed a rare issue where the enemy “Hydro Hilichurl Rogue” would experience unusually short periods of being Frozen.

– Corrected the Knife Throwing ability of Treasure Hoarder Scouts, ensuring it now unleashes properly in all situations.

– Addressed a problem where Frost Operatives’ models could appear abnormally at longer distances.

– Fixed the abnormal location of the skill AoE warning effect when multiple Wind Operatives unleashed the Windstrike Encore skill simultaneously.

– Corrected the occasional abnormal direction of the action when the Hydro Tulpa unleashed the Dissolving Surge attack.

– Fixed the issue where DMG numbers wouldn’t display when certain characters inflicted damage on the All-Devouring Narwhal, although the actual DMG inflicted was correct.

– Resolved an issue where, while challenging the Boss “Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto,” the active character would lose HP when another game interface was opened within the shield deployed on the field.

● Characters:

– Fixed an issue with Charlotte where there was no related special effect when she was knocked away.

– Resolved a problem where Shenhe, when caught in an enemy’s bubble, would have a missing ribbon animation effect on the character model.

– Corrected the abnormal appearance of Salon Members invited by Furina’s Elemental Skill under certain circumstances.

– Fixed an issue where, after Furina’s Lv. 6 Constellation was activated, the Plunge Hydro DMG dealt by her Plunging Attack could be erroneously overridden by infusion.

● System:

– Fixed a spot on Wriothesley’s portrait where the image layers were in the wrong order in interfaces like “Character Archive” and “Story Quests.”

– Addressed missing text for the Archon Quest “Equilibrium” in the “Travel Log.”

– Fixed the abnormal disappearing animation of the Gadget “Itty Bitty Octobaby” when characters entered combat, went into or left a body of water.

– Corrected the abnormal camera view when characters sat down at benches in Fontaine, allowing the camera to see through character models under certain circumstances.

– Resolved camera abnormalities when the game disconnected from the server while characters were underwater.

– Fixed lingering underwater environment effects after switching characters and leaving the body of water.

● Genius Invokation TCG:

– Addressed a text color issue in Genius Invokation TCG where certain Character Card skill descriptions were displaying incorrectly.

– Fixed the clarity issue with details on the character’s face when certain Character Cards used Dynamic Skins.

– Corrected the abnormal effects of a Seamless Shield generated by the Character Card “Baizhu” affecting fallen Character Cards under certain circumstances.

– Resolved abnormal displays of special effects on the Dynamic Skins of the Event Cards “Fresh Wind of Freedom,” “In Every House a Stove,” and “Joyous Celebration.”

– Fixed an issue where, after the Character Card “Yoimiya” equipped the Talent Card “Naganohara Meteor Swarm,” her third Normal Attack after entering the Niwabi Enshou state would not receive +1 DMG as it should.

● Audio:

– Fixed an issue where the skill sound effects of Furina’s Elemental Burst would abnormally cut off under certain circumstances.

– Corrected missing audio for certain scene elements.

– Fixed incorrect music in certain places in the “Weeping Willow of the Lake” sub-area of Fontaine.

● Other:

– Rectified a text error in “Character Story 5” in Neuvillette’s Profile > Story interface.

– Fixed a commission flow abnormality in the Daily Commission “This Novel Is Amazing!,” allowing players to complete the corresponding achievement under all circumstances.

– Addressed an issue where, after Electro Shards created by Crystallize reactions were absorbed, the special effect would appear abnormally.

– Fixed a Co-Op Mode issue where, when a Traveler used the abilities of Xenochromatic Fontemer Aberrants with certain characters, the other Traveler would be unable to see the skill animation.

– Resolved an issue where certain weapon special effects would abnormally disappear when characters equipped Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds and changed outfits.

– Fixed the abnormal Stamina consumption after Neuvillette and Cyno triggered the Bloodstained Chivalry 4-Piece Set Bonus during Charged Attacks.

– Rectified a text error on the Court of Fontaine: Fleuve Cendre Message Board in multiple languages.

– Fixed various text errors in certain languages and optimized text. (Note: Related in-game functions have not changed. Travelers can view the changes in different languages by going to the Paimon Menu > Settings > Language and changing the Game Language.)

◆ Optimized certain inconsistencies between voice-overs and their corresponding lines in Neuvillette’s Story Quest.
